SMS Privacy Policy and TERMS

Why We Have an SMS Policy

At PrismRoute™, we are committed to transparency and compliance in all communications. Recent updates to U.S. messaging regulations (led by the FCC and major carriers in 2023) require businesses to follow strict guidelines to prevent spam and protect consumer privacy. Our SMS Policy ensures that every message you receive is wanted, secure, and legally compliant.

If you use our SMS services, please take a moment to review our full policy. Understanding these guidelines helps us maintain a trusted communication platform for everyone.

2. Consent (Opt-In)

We only send messages to users who have provided explicit, verifiable consent for specific, purpose-driven communications. Consent is obtained through one or more of the following methods:

  • Online Sign-Up Forms: Users opt-in by checking the box to receive SMS communications when they sign up for services, agree to terms, or subscribe to updates.

  • Text-Based Keywords: Users initiate opt-in by texting specific keywords (e.g., “START,” “YES,” or “SUBSCRIBE”) to receive SMS messages related to specific services.

  • Verifiable Documentation: Users confirm consent verbally or in writing, such as during customer service interactions or account creation.

Consent Guidelines:

  • Clear, Purpose-Specific Consent: Users must be informed of the specific type of messaging they will receive, such as 2FA, security alerts, account notifications, event reminders, and delivery updates.

  • No Third-Party or Purchased Lists: We do not use purchased or third-party contact lists to send messages.

  • Non-Transferable Consent: Consent is only valid for the services and purposes it was granted for. It cannot be transferred between different services or campaigns.

  • Service-Based Messaging: Consent obtained for messaging is tied directly to the services users opt into, and messages are considered necessary for service delivery (e.g., 2FA, security notifications, delivery updates).

3. Services for Messaging
